Terms of Service

Version v1.0 · Effective August 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PlusFour Golf, LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("PlusFour," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the PlusFour platform, including ihsaa.plusfour.golf, our related websites, applications, and services (together, the "Services"). Please read them carefully, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Sections 13 through 15 affect your legal rights, including a mandatory arbitration provision and a class action waiver. Please review them.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are not of legal age to form a binding contract, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

If you use the Services on behalf of a school, team, league, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization, and "you" in these Terms includes that organization.

Creating an account or completing a purchase is your electronic signature and acceptance of these Terms.

2. The Services

PlusFour provides live scoring, results, statistics, rankings, rosters, season management, and related tools for Idaho high school golf, together with optional paid features such as season passes. Public pages — leaderboards, schedules, results, and rankings — may be viewed without an account. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Certain features are described in supplemental terms identified in Section 4, which are part of these Terms for the users they apply to.

3. Your Account

Information you provide when registering and using the Services must be true, accurate, and current, and you agree to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Account roles (coach, scorer, player, administrator, official, media) limit what you can do, and you agree not to act outside your role. You may not create an account for anyone other than yourself (except where you are expressly authorized to create accounts on behalf of your organization), and you may not sell, transfer, or share your account or its credentials. We may treat anyone who signs in with your correct credentials as you. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Supplemental Terms for Specific Roles and Features

Depending on how you use the Services, additional terms apply and are incorporated into these Terms:

  • Staff & Student Data Addendum — applies to coaches, athletic directors, scorers, administrators, and any other user granted access to enter or manage information about student-athletes.
  • Payment & Checkout Terms and Refund Policy — apply to any purchase made through the Services.
  • Revenue Share Program Terms — apply to schools participating in the revenue share program.
  • Brand Use Agreement — applies to school representatives regarding school names, logos, and marks displayed on the platform.

If a supplemental term conflicts with these Terms, the supplemental term controls for its subject matter.

5. Free Access for Schools, Players, and Media

Each participating school receives free access for one athletic administrator and up to three coaches. Student-athletes on a school's roster and credentialed media also receive free access. Additional school staff accounts may be available at our discretion. Free access is provided as a courtesy and may be adjusted for future seasons.

6. Information Entered by Users; Responsibility for Accuracy

The Services allow authorized users — such as coaches, scorers, and school staff — to enter rosters, scores, results, and other information ("User Content"). The person or organization that enters User Content is responsible for it, including its accuracy, its legality, and having any consent or authority required to submit it. PlusFour does not independently verify User Content and is not responsible for errors, omissions, or disputes arising from information entered by users, including scoring disputes, roster decisions, or team management decisions made by coaches, schools, or organizations. Questions about information entered by a school or coach should be directed to them.

We may review, correct, restrict, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including for suspected violations of these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of competition records, but we have no obligation to monitor User Content.

7. Information About Minors

Most student-athletes on the platform are minors, and we take that seriously. If you post or enter information about a minor, you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian, or that you have obtained any legally required consent or authority to do so (for school staff, as further described in the Staff & Student Data Addendum). If a parent or legal guardian objects to the display of their child's information, we will apply our masking and suppression options as described in our Privacy Policy. If we learn that information about a minor was posted without required consent or authority, we will endeavor to mask, suppress, or remove it.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Enter scores you are not authorized to enter, falsify results, impersonate another person, or tamper with official results;
  • Access accounts or data you are not authorized to access, or circumvent any access control, authentication, or security feature;
  • Access or use the Services by means of bots, scrapers, or other automated tools, or scrape, harvest, copy, republish, license, or sell data from the Services, except that schools may export their own data;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services, or attempt to derive its source code or the methodology behind its rankings;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice, mark, or attribution displayed by the Services;
  • Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, or that violates another person's rights, or use the Services to bully, stalk, or intimidate anyone, including student-athletes;
  • Send spam or unsolicited promotional communications through the Services;
  • Probe, attack, or interfere with the security or operation of the Services, including by introducing malicious code;
  • Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or assist anyone else in doing any of the above.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and pursue other remedies in response to actual or suspected violations.

9. Competition Data and User Content

Competition results — scores, standings, and rankings — are factual records of interscholastic competition. Schools and students retain their rights in the information they submit; PlusFour hosts and displays it to operate the Services and does not claim ownership of student information. You may share and link to public pages freely; bulk scraping or republishing of the database is not permitted without written permission.

You grant PlusFour a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt (for formatting and display purposes) User Content as needed to operate, provide, secure, improve, and reasonably promote the Services. You acknowledge that competition results may be displayed publicly and retained as part of the historical competition record, including after your account closes. This license is not a grant to sell your personal information or to use student data for marketing, which we do not do (see our Privacy Policy).

10. Our Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets

The Services' software, database structure, designs, text, graphics, and logos are owned by PlusFour or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes. You may not use the PlusFour name or logos without our prior written permission. School names, logos, and marks remain the property of their respective schools and are displayed under the Brand Use Agreement.

The Services' software, database structure, designs, and rankings methodology — including the configurations, architecture, weightings, tuning parameters, and performance characteristics of the Idaho Power Rankings (IPR) engine — are the exclusive property of PlusFour Golf, LLC and are maintained as trade secrets. Nothing in these Terms, and no use of the Services, grants any right in them.

11. Scores and Official Results

Live scores are provided for convenience and speed, and are entered in real time by coaches, scorers, and event administrators, who are responsible for the accuracy of what they enter and approve. Rankings, ratings, and statistics displayed on the Services are produced by PlusFour and are informational. Official competition results, tiebreaks, and rules of competition are determined by the Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) and its designated officials — the signed scorecard and the tournament committee remain authoritative. PlusFour provides the tool; it does not adjudicate competition disputes. We may correct errors so the Services match the official record, and corrections are logged.

12. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Services accurate and available, including during tournaments, with maintenance scheduled outside event windows where possible. But golf happens outdoors, on real courses, on real networks — rural course connectivity is real, and device issues and human error can affect live scoring.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST. THE SERVICES ARE NOT A BACKUP SERVICE; DO NOT RELY ON THEM AS THE ONLY COPY OF ANYTHING IMPORTANT TO YOU. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUSFOUR AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PLUSFOUR IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlusFour and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your User Content, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of any third party.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@plusfour.golf and give us thirty (30) days to work with you in good faith to resolve the dispute. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Arbitration. Except as provided below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that is not resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration before a single neutral arbitrator in Idaho, administered under the consumer arbitration rules of a recognized national arbitration provider agreed by the parties. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies for that court's jurisdiction, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property or trade secrets, or for unauthorized access to the Services. For claims not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Idaho.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER. ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. NEITHER YOU NOR PLUSFOUR MAY BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, AND THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON.

Opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice of your decision to support@plusfour.golf, or to the mailing address below, within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms (or of any material change to this Section). Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Paid Features

Purchases through the Services, including season passes and donations, are governed by the Payment & Checkout Terms and the Refund Policy, which are presented before purchase and incorporated into these Terms.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Services or request account closure at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Services or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 9, 10, and 12 through 15) survive.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version carries a version identifier and effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of it.

19. General; Contact

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the supplemental terms identified in Section 4 that apply to you, are the entire agreement between you and PlusFour regarding the Services and supersede any prior understandings. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of substantially all of our assets. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and PlusFour.
